Privacy Policy — ONE TOWER
Effective date: 16 October 2026
Overview
ONE TOWER ("the App") is a tower-defense / incremental game published by ANSKAITISGROUP S.L. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App handles, who receives it and why.
1. Game progress (on your device)
Waves reached, upgrades, currencies, cards, settings and what you own are stored in the App's local storage on your device. Android may include them in your device's backup to your Google Account (Android Auto Backup). They are removed from your device when you uninstall the App or reset your progress in Settings; a cloud save (section 1a) is kept until you delete it.
1a. Cloud save (Google Play Games)
If you have a Google Play Games profile, or connect one in the App (Settings → Cloud save → CONNECT), the App signs you in to Google Play Games and saves a copy of your game progress there: your tower, currencies, settings and purchase records. Google stores the copy in your Google Play Games account, and only this game can read it. It lets you continue after reinstalling or on another phone. We do not receive the copy on our own servers.
- Your Play Games player ID stays on your device. The save holds only a one-way code derived from it, so the App can tell whose save it is. Your Play Games name is shown only inside the App and is never sent to our server or to Google Analytics.
- When one save replaces another, the App keeps the replaced one so you can go back (Settings → Cloud save → Restore the other save): on your device, and in your Play Games account for 30 days.
- Google Play Games services process data of their own to run the service, under the Google Privacy Policy.
- To stop: Settings → Cloud save → Turn off on this phone. To delete: Settings → Cloud save → Delete cloud save (the save on your phone stays), or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app or your Google Account.
2. Advertising — Google AdMob
The App offers optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward). Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers (for example the app set ID),
- approximate location derived from your IP address,
- interactions with ads, and diagnostics and crash information of the ad SDK,
for showing, measuring and personalising ads and for fraud prevention. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown; if you do not consent, only non-personalised or limited ads are shown. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads / Privacy → Ads). Players who own an ad-free purchase (Ad-Free, VIP, Disable Ads, the VIP Pass, or the earlier Starter Pack that removed ads) never see ads.
3. Analytics — Google Analytics for Firebase
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played and to measure our advertising campaigns (Google Ads). It collects:
- app interactions: sessions, screens and game events such as tutorial completion, waves and tiers reached, Ascensions, Vault collections, rewarded ads watched, tournament entries and results, shop visits, completed purchases (product and price as reported by Google Play) and cloud save results (never the save itself),
- a few user properties: your purchase plan (for example free, ad-free, Pass or VIP), a band of your total spending, whether you started on version 2.0 or earlier, and whether you watched an ad in the last 7 days,
- an app-instance identifier and, where you allow it, your device's advertising ID,
- device and app information (model, OS version, app version, language) and approximate location (country/region derived from the IP address).
We do not send your leaderboard name, your Google Play Games name or player ID, or any free text to Google Analytics. Analytics follows the same consent choice as ads: until you consent (where consent is required), Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode without storing identifiers for analytics or advertising. Event-level data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics (currently 2 months); aggregated reports are kept longer. Google acts as our service provider; see How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
4. World leaderboard and tournaments
World leaderboard (optional). If you set a leaderboard name, the App sends to our server
(iaengineering.net, hosted by Hostinger in the EU): the name you chose, a random installation ID created by
the App (it is not linked to your device, account or advertising ID), your best tier and wave, and the App's version.
Your name and scores are shown publicly to other players.
Tournaments. From depth 50, the App enters you in tournaments automatically. It sends the same installation ID, your tournament score with the tier and attempt it came from, the App's version, and your leaderboard name or, if you have not set one, a generated name such as "Player 4821". The name and score are shown to the other players in your bracket; empty seats are filled with computer rivals. To stop this, turn off Settings → Enter tournaments automatically: the App then sends nothing for tournaments. Versions before 2.0 enter tournaments only when you set a name.
Time and game settings. The App also asks our server for the current time and game settings; only the App's version and rules version are sent, and your IP address is processed to answer.
Your IP address is processed by the server to deliver the request and may appear in the host's security logs. Entries are kept while the board is running; tournament brackets are deleted after 35 days. To have your entry removed, email us with your leaderboard name or the generated name shown in your bracket.
5. In-app purchases
The App offers optional one-time purchases and an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Tower Pass"). Every purchase is processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card or payment credentials; Google provides us only the confirmation needed to deliver the item. Your purchase records (which product, when, and a code derived from Google Play's purchase token) are part of your saved game, on your device and in your cloud save (section 1a), so that a purchase is never lost and never delivered twice. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in the Google Play Store app (Subscriptions). "Restore purchases" re-applies earlier purchases on a new device with the same Google account. Google's handling of payments is described in the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
6. Permissions
INTERNET/ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— ads, analytics, the leaderboard and Google Play billing.com.android.vending.BILLING— Google Play purchases.com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDand Android's ad-services permissions — used by AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase as described above, subject to your consent and device settings.
The App does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts or storage permissions.
7. Your choices and rights
- Change or withdraw your ads/analytics consent: Settings → Ad privacy → CHOICES in the App.
- Cloud save: turn it off with Settings → Cloud save → Turn off on this phone; delete it with Settings → Cloud save → Delete cloud save, or in the Google Play Games app or your Google Account.
- Tournaments: turn off automatic entry with Settings → Enter tournaments automatically, and ask us to delete your bracket entry.
- Stop leaderboard sharing: clear your name and we will delete your entry on request.
- If you are in the EEA or UK you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. The legal bases we rely on are your consent (ads personalisation and analytics where required), the performance of our agreement with you for the game features you use (such as the cloud save), and our legitimate interest in running and improving the game, its leaderboard and its tournaments.
8. Children
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Web version (played on CrazyGames)
When you play ONE TOWER in a web browser on CrazyGames (crazygames.com), the following applies instead of sections 1, 1a, 2, 3, 5 and 6:
- Your progress is stored in your browser's local storage and, if you are signed in to CrazyGames, in CrazyGames' save service linked to your CrazyGames account, so it follows you to other devices.
- Ads are provided by CrazyGames and its advertising partners through the CrazyGames SDK, under CrazyGames' own consent and privacy settings; see the CrazyGames privacy policy. The web version does not use Google AdMob or Google Analytics for Firebase.
- The web version has no purchases.
- The world leaderboard works as described in section 4. Tournaments in the web version are entered only when you set a leaderboard name (without one, nothing is sent and you play against computer rivals). Web players have their own separate leaderboard and tournaments. A short notice with a link to this policy is shown the first time you play.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the App's data practices change; the effective date at the top shows the latest version.
